Pet of the week: I'm Wayne and I dearly want to be living with YOU, not here at the shelter. I weigh less than 20 pounds so I won't take up a whole lot of room nor will I be too heavy to pick up or squish you if you allow me to curl up on your lap. And I won't yank your arm off as we walk down the street. I must confess that I can be rather protective of my food so am hoping you have had experience with dogs like me.
That's also the reason I probably shouldn't live with young kids who tend to drop tasty morsels. The shelter is noisy and a bit scary so I'm staying in a quieter spot. PLEASE come in and ASK to meet me. Make the future brighter for both of us! Call 815.758.2457.
